We welcome you and your family as members of FOTP. All parents and carers are automatically members of FOTP and there are many different ways you can support us - some volunteer their time or skills, some people bake, some organize, others build, dig or donate, and many others support and enjoy the events.
Our aim is to support the school by raising as much money as we can to enhance, enrich and improve learning experiences and facilities for the children. We also want to provide those “little extras” and organise events that make school memorable and fun for the children, such as school disco, movie nights, treat Fridays etc.
We also strive to bring the school community and home closer together and for our parents and carers to be more involved in their child’s school life.
Parents, carers, grandparents and other family members of children at the school are invited to join our closed Facebook group - Friends of Tickford Park Primary School | Facebook where you can follow our upcoming events and activities.
If you’d like to play a more active role, or have a family member or carer who’d like to know more then please get in touch via email or FB message. We don’t ask you to commit specific time or resources, we just let you know if we need help, and if you can get involved then great and if you can’t then that’s ok too

Can you find out if the company you work for offers match funding?
If they do, any money you raise could be matched by your employer. Companies may match the fundraising total for an event, or for the stall/area that their employee is working on. Usually, the employee will need to supply them with a letter from the Friends Association/PTA detailing the date and nature of the event, together with the total raised.
We understand that the high street banks, building societies, supermarkets and large corporations are likely to do match funding, but these schemes are not exclusive to the major corporate giants. If you work for an independent company, they may be interested in charitable giving through match funding too.
If you are able to help us this way, please email us on Friends@tickfordpark.org.uk, and we can discuss your companies’ requirements.
Remember that we have a collection bin on school site so you can drop off your donations throughout the year and help raise funds this way. You will find the yellow collection bin next to the school’s conservatory.
Unwanted clothes, shoes, handbags, accessories, toys, games, books are accepted, but please remember these must be in good, clean, resalable condition.
